      THE CAVEATS

  • Ratings are calibrated to location, meaning a "great" pizza in Dallas might merely be a "good" pie in New York

  • Ratings also take into account the style and availability of that style in a given area

  • Whole pies are almost always better than slices

  • I believe great pizza is 41% dough, 24% ingredients and 36% the balance between them

  • Yes, I consider Chicago-style deep dish pizza and I really like it.

  • I have been to Italy but not since i got decent taste buds.

  • The reason it seems like you know your city better than me is that you probably do (unless you're in L.A.)
